GraphQL
Hollowport recognizes GraphQL operations automatically — no configuration needed — and decodes the query, variables, and response into a structured view instead of one long JSON blob you'd otherwise have to unpack by hand. Operation name and type (query, mutation, subscription) are shown up front, so a list of GraphQL calls is scannable the same way a list of REST endpoints is.
WebSockets
Turn on decoding for a specific host under More → WebSockets. Once enabled, individual frames — sent and received — appear the same way HTTP requests show up in Capture: one row per frame, in order, with the payload readable rather than collapsed into a single opaque connection entry.
This is opt-in per host rather than always-on, since decoding every WebSocket frame on every host by default would add noise to captures that don't need it.
gRPC and Protocol Buffers
Where a request or response body is gRPC or raw Protocol Buffers, Hollowport attempts automatic decoding even without a .proto schema to work from, using the wire format's own structure to render a readable field tree instead of binary bytes.
